Post Oscar hangovers give rise to the realization that it is actually a full work week this week. And while that seems daunting, finding some quality act to see this Monday night in Los Angeles is not. With some great residencies closing the books on their February run - it might be wise to catch those weekly parties before they change casts.
The Mowgli's enlisted The Diamond Light, Zak Waters, Lisa Donnelly and DJ Jason Kramer to end things at The Satellite on a high note. A House for Lions did the same by recruiting Max and The Moon, The Peach Kings and The Cerny Brothers. Dance party starter Mystery Skulls hauled in Ghost Beach, Gangplans and DJ Holloweyed to Bootleg Bar to end his run there.
Elsewhere Hunnypot Radio broadcasts out of The Central SAPC with a tasty set from rising indie electro pop rockers Mind The Gap, Del The Funky Homosapien drops some FREE raps on the Slidebar crowd, Jeff Garlin makes people laugh as he converses with Aziz Ansari at Largo and last but not least, Chief and Warships deliver a dosage of indie to It's A School Night at Bardot.

As the industry recovers from its Grammy party hangover - a handful of emerging artists are slated to put their stamp on 2013 with some Monday night shows. February residents turn in some solid line-ups with The Mowgli's recruiting Terraplane Sun, The Lucky Lonely and COYOL to join them at The Satellite and Mystery Skulls bringing James Supercave and AmpLive to Bootleg Bar. Both are free.
