Bringing LA Steeze to Austin: The Roxy Presents Austin Rox

Oh yes...in less than 48 hours SUPERGOODMUSIC begins its annual trek to SXSW. For 2012 - we decided to go HAM with our pals Heard Entertainment and RootMusic. We've got a venue for 9 days at 604 and 606 E. 7th Street with lots of crazy talent to make your body move, head spin and keep your ears happy. AND the announcements are just starting to roll out....including this epic one.

We couldn't be more proud to be partnered with The Roxy, one of the highlights of LA's live music culture, on their Austin Rox event on Thursday March 15, 2012. AustinRox is typically one of my highlights of SXSW too - so Nic Adler and crew are obviously doing something right. I remember 2010 when Tom Morello straight raged Rusty's with Boots Riley, and last year with Neon Trees, Saint Motel and more.

Check out the insanity they've brought for 2012 on the flyers above and below. The show includes Das Racist, Doomtree, Prof, The Stone Foxes, Nico Vega, Imagine Dragons, Shinobi Ninja, Fillager, The Peach Kings and more! You can RSVP here. http://roxy.la/austinrox5

Speaking of The Peach Kings - they just participated in a wild and crazy Jam In The Van shoot that SUPERGOODMUSIC participated in. Check out their automobile friendly version of "Thieves and Kings"

And did I mention the Roxy is bringing in the Silent Disco for our patio stage with Jeremy Sole and more providing the headphone soundtrack? Well - thats happening too.

Shinobi Ninja at The Roxy; Boom D on KXSC

Brooklyn based hood rock (or Rock Hood?) party starters Shinobi Ninja storm The Roxy tonight for a FREE show presented by Billboard - Dreamseekers. It is on the early side, 7-9, but worth checking out - especially because it has no cost.

If you can't make it - tune into KXSC radio from 6-8 pm when I join Shelby Moran for two hours of audio dopeness.
