Jim McTuran & The Kids That Killed The Man
Formerly of the band CAT-A-TAC, Jim McTuran has branched out on his own with a new backing band to make rock music. Since the departure to solo artist is recent, the opportunity to perform at Monolith is a huge break for him. Since he calls Denver home he must be very excited and proud to be playing at Red Rocks in September. Check out his MySpace page below to hear some tracks and see some videos.

Avi Buffalo
Avi Buffalo began writing music when he was going to high school in Long Beach, CA. Soon after - high school members of the band Outsider Folk asked the young musician to play a show in his hometown. So Buffalo quickly gathered some musically inclined fans and things haven’t been the same since. In my opinion, they will be the perfect band to fill an early afternoon slot at Monolith. It’s easy going light music that can be enjoyed while sitting down, which is perfect for a festival. Check out the link to their MySpace below.
A Shoreline Dream
Fans of A Shoreline Dream describe their sound as “Melodipsych Rock.” I’m not 100% on what that means, but after listening to some of their music and watching a few videos I've got more of an idea. People traveling to Monolith that are unaware of their existence should know that their music definitely has some moments of hard rock. They released their first full-length album in Ferbruary of 2009. I am interested to see what their live show will entail...See photos and hear music over at the bands MySpace page.
