10 Days of 2010: Night 7

Hello SUPERGOODMUSIC friends, we are now on days 7 of our 10 Days of 2010 series at The Viper Room and if you haven't made it to any of the nights so far, then we highly suggest you make your way down to the Sunset Strip tonight to see Living Things, The Tender Box and White Arrows.

It's safe to say that The Viper Room is not known to be a venue that showcases bands with and electronic vibe to them, but on Tuesday, The Viper Room was transformed into an electro-rock dance venue as the bands HOTSTREETS, CASXIO, and Odd Modern completely blew everyone away. Even at 11:45 at night, Odd Modern got the crowd on their feet with songs like, "Ana" "Bangalore" and their amazing cover of "Toxic" by Britney Spears. Playing The Viper Room was a huge accomplishment for the band from Los Angeles, and they were as great as always.

Last night, The Viper Room did something very special in that they broadcast the entire night of music live on UStream for the bands vOLUMe, Darlings of the Day and The Crash Kings. I was unable to attend the shows last night due to not feeling very well, but I snuggled up on my couch with a bowl of homemade tomato soup and watched the shows from the comfort of my own home. It was incredible to see how well the atmosphere of The Viper Room translated to the web and the quality of the sound was astounding.

If you're planning on attending tonights shows, feel free to drop me a line to let me know you'll be there and if you're the first one to do so you could win free tickets!
