Tonight in L.A. (December 30, 2012)


Its the last Sunday of the year, the last Sunday of football and the last chance to see a handful of artists perform in 2012.

Popular producer and relaxed party general Laidback Luke gets down at Avalon Hollywood.  For other beat offerings - Feed Me drops a DJ set at Yost Theater.  



For laidback vibes - The Dustbowl Revival collective hosts Bacchanal at Del Monte Speakeasy and The Aggrolites get a little dubby at Saint Rocke.  Want weird?  Its Dirt Nasty baby at The Viper Room with Beardo and The Attack.





Downtown Ludacris and Kelly Rowland deliver some pop flavored urban tuneage at Club Nokia, other notbales include Peter Murphy at The Observatory and Donovan Frankenreiter at Coach House.

Dirt, Riff Raff & Milanokis...

A song called "Bong Hits" might grab your attention even if it doesn't sound that great at the beginning.   Without their pre-existing fame, I'm inclined to think music (or a group) like this would be turned down at Mad Decent's doorstop.   But Riff Raff, Dirt Nasty and Andy Milanokis' super-group Three Loco is pioneering the new streets of quirk hop that was once the battleground of lesser known underground lyrical talents like Kosha Dillz and MC Lars.   Watch out Das Racist - there's a new trio in funny rap.

Check your pockets for your pills and your stash because Three Loco's on the loose....
