Mac Mall Throw Back

Its one of my close homies 30th birthdays today - and we're celebrating all things nostalgic in 90s rap from when we met.  That includes this underutilized gem from Mac Mall - "Get Right."  The video was produced by Tupac Shakur in 1993.  Get familiar and go a little thug this Friday...

Cults, Cults, Cults in Boulder, Boulder, Boulder

Get down with a legit, not too spooky or insane Cult tonight - Friday the 13th - in Boulder, CO when Cults make their way to Fox Theatre!

The quality, nostalgia inducing indie rock act got a lot of fan fare in 2011, and with good reason. Songs like "Go Outside" and "Abducted" are hooky (in an indie/hipster sort of way), fun and light on the ears.

You can win tickets to tonight's Boulder show by emailing contest@supergoodmusic.com or tweeting out @foxtheatreco @supergoodmusic and @supergoodco in the same tweet. Now go swarm that...

VENICE BEACH - FUTURECOP!

Peter Carrol and Manzur Iqbal, better known to most as FutureCop!, just leaked some of their latest music to the blog community - including the track "Venice Beach" which I was happy to premier to the world in The Concert Blast that went out earlier today.

Anyhow, the track is catchy, fun, danceable and has a quintessential L.A. essence too it. I only hope they come back to the states, and more importantly, California, to rock this single live for us because I loved seeing these guys perform and get the electro-pop party jumping when they were here with Keith Masters in April.

Check out the 80s esque video too:
