In the Concert Blast this week we remarked that there wasn't too much great music in town tonight and today. Although the DO Over is always a Sunday afternoon activity of choice, this week I am heading to the Taste of Abbot Kinney. Despite not attending for any reason other than food - I've just come to learn that there is a significant music component featuring a handful of artists, including a grammy nominee (Bird York).
SO, if you are seeking some delightful Sunday afternoon entertainment and activities, look no further than today's Taste of Abbot Kinney festival. The event not only hosts a handsome lot of delicious food trucks, but apparently a handful of recording artists too.
Although I've never really heard of any of these artists and am not necessarily saying that their live performance(s) are "SUPERGOOD" - I know the food is going to be the whip and I wouldn't doubt that the music has been appropriately paired with the nosh.
Taste of Abbot Kinney commences today at 3 pm, but the music doesn't start until 3:30. Below is the schedule of artists and links to a few downloads that the artists provided.
