Word?!?!

· Soul Slam IV at echoplex was a huge success! The dance floor was the usual sweatbox it can be and the vibe was spectacular – I seamlessly wove through groups of friends dancing, trying to do their best MJ or Prince impersonation.

· Lebowski Fest, happening this Thursday and Friday, should be a real hit. The 2 day event pays homage to the 199 cult comedy classic Coen Brothers’ film The Big Lebowski. Thursday night features a screening at the Wiltern, where special guests Jeff “The Dude” Dowd, Woo the rug-pisser and the Yutu Miyazawa, are confirmed to be in attendance (other celebs will likely appear too). Friday the event moves to Cal Bowl for Lebowski trivia and costume contests, as well as some bowling (sans guns).

· The Los Angeles premier of Last Cup: Road to the World Series of Beer Pong was a success. The crowd laughed, cheered, clapped and, based on the whispers of cracking cans I heard in the theater, got drunk. The after party at Happy Endings was only wilder. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the film!

· Wilco has added a third show on June 25^th at the Wiltern because their shows on June 22^nd and 23^rd quickly sold out. Don’t miss out, cause I doubt they are adding a fourth show.

· Lots of Hollywood Bow tickets are now on sale…including Beastie Boys on September 24^th!
