Los Angeles Tonight (July 12, 2013)

Its Friday, the sun is shining and the sounds are sweet with the likes of Portugal. The Man at The Wiltern, Shugo Tokumaru at The Echo, Martin Solveig at Avalon and Olafur Arnalds at Masonic Lodge.  Lightning in a Bottle takes a lot of the cities bustling electronic music enthusiasts out to Lake Irvine for three consecutive days of beats, music, art, and positive vibes delivered courtesy of The Do Lab.  Tickets are largely sold out except for Sunday only passes - but if you're in on the celebration already, make sure you arrive with time to see Purity Ring tonight.  If you head to Irvine and get turned away - Slightly Stoopid and Atmosphere at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre provide a solid substitute for entertainment or you could wax nostalgic with All-4-One and Color Me Badd at the City National Grove of Anaheim.  Last but not leaset - Akron/Family play for FREE at FIG at 7th.   List of other shows below...
