Los Angeles Tonight (March 19, 2013)

Here it is boyz and girlz, the fall-off that I've been talking about for the past week or so.  Tonight's concert calendar is PACKED and it only get's headier throughout the week.

The most eclectic offering on this Turn't Up Tuesday evening would probably be (in my humble opinion) The Virgins + Har Mar Superstar + C.O.L.O.R at The Constellation Room.  Even if it was just a Har Mar Superstar show there would be a lot going on there, but add in the other two acts and that's a whole scene.

If you're hanging closer to mainland LA then might we suggest Black Francis at The Mint for a nice low-key evening of solid tunage.  Or if you venture over to Echo Park dig the post SXSW influx at The Echoplex with Chelsea Light Moving (ft. Thurston Moore), Grass Widow, and buzz artist Waxahatchee.

Not to overcomplicate your decision, but there are also very intriguing offerings at The El Rey where you'll find Lianne La Havas and Jamie N Commons, The Hotel Cafe with Bernhoft and Robert Francis performing, and at The Fonda Josh Ritter does what Josh Ritter does.

Like I said PACKED, and there's even more on the BLAST.  So I hope y'all did your taxes, saved your change, and can make it out to some shows this week...
