Tonight in L.A. (December 7, 2012)

Its Pearl Harbor Day - and musicians are flying into L.A. venues tonight like they're on a kamikaze mission to explode on the dance floor.  Maybe the wrong metaphor to go with......but how many war vets really read SUPERGOODMUSIC.com?

Tonight the concert calendar is explosively awesome with just about every side of Los Angeles getting a healthy serving of supergood music.  Hollywood is an epicenter of the party with Flosstradamus, Krewella and Run DMT raging Avalon while Borgore, Etc! Etc! and Carnage bring out the trap and more at Fonda Theatre.  Can't get that filthy?  Well Bloc Party and Dum Dum Girls play at Hollywood Palladium too.

Over in the Sunset Strip region, the priest of rap and ambassador of the Temple of Hip Hop, KRS One drops knowledge at The Viper Room, Bilal sings sweet soul at Key Club and David Bazan Band plays Pedro The Lion's Control to a sold out crowd at Troubadour.

Over near the beach the Jam in The Van crew hosts another ramble at The Central SAPC with help from The Diamond Light, Dustbowl Revival, Black Crystal Wolf Kids and more and The White Buffalo puts sound into Saint Rocke.

East of the 101 have fun with the FLavors 5 1990's Party with DJ Spinna, J Rocc and Scratch at Echoplex or enjoy the indie of Kopecky Family Band at The Satellite.  We've got free tickets to give away to Kopecky - so mention @supergoodmusic @thesatelliteLA on twitter if you want to get in on that or email us at contest@supergoodmusic.com

Below is a full list of tonight's shows.  Check back tomorrow and Sunday for more Daily Doses....

Holiday party season is officially kicking off for this music blog and ASCAP leads the way with their invitation event tonight.  Hopefully I will bump into some avid readers there and then maybe we will roll to one of these next few concerts receiving a SUPERGOOD stamp of approval...

How To Dress Well holds down more than just a wardrobe at The Echoplex for one of Check Yo Ponytail's last events of 2012.   Joined by Born Gold, Beacon, Groundislava, Bago and Ille - it should prove to be a quality line up although you might be inclined to check out Poolside and Goldroom at Dim Mak Studios to add some more tropical electro to this Tuesday soundtrack.  We've got a pair of tickets to give away to How To Dress Well - so just tweet us out (@supergoodmusic @checkyoponytail) or email contest@supergoodmusic.com if you want to enter.
