The Newport Folk Festival is returning this year to Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island, from July 26 to 28. Now in its 54th year, the folk-oriented music festival promises an eclectic three days of music from artists who embrace traditions to those who expand musical boundaries. The festival features 4 stages of music, food & crafts, and a number of displays.
Beck, The Avett Brothers, and Feist are this year's headliners. The lineup also includes Jim James (of My Morning Jacket), The Mountain Goats, Father John Misty (ex-Fleet Foxes), Andrew Bird, Phosphorescent, Nigerian singer-songwriter Bombino, The Lumineers, Old Crow Medicine Show, iconic American folk singer Ramblin' Jack Elliot, Lord Huron, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, and many more.
