The first day of October brings a handful of fresh residencies to the LA concert scene - most notably recent Glassnote signee Robert DeLong at Echoplex. His one man electro pop party is a marvel to see live. Another amazing individual talent - Ed Sheeran, plays for a lucky crowd at The Wiltern with assistance from Passenger and Selah Sue. The British phenom will likely convince crowds to be confused as to why his beautiful voice doesn't dominate American charts too. The Sunset Strip region hosts a handful of emerging acts SUPERGOOD likes too - Fartbarf over at Whisky A Go Go and a little south - Troubadour gets a visit from Frank + Derol, Wolf Gang and The Royal Concept.
Since its Monday, you know Its A School Night, and Bardot gets a visit from the trying to, but at the same time trying not to sound like U2 act The Chevin. They're entertaining and uniquely outfitted - and the supporting cast I know little about will probably be what most IASN nights are - pretty solid. Its free with an RSVP here.
