The latter hosts New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men. If you're in your thirties - you danced to that 'ish at Bar Mitzvahs, don't lie! The former gets Guy, Tony! Toni! Tone!, Dru Hill, SWV and Al. B Sure. If that line up doesn't make you weak in the knees - well, you're just not a 90s soul child.










If you're into that new - catch the ludicrous vernacular of Riff Raff at The Observatory with support from Lil' Debbie or try the likes of Fartbarf, Ninja Betty & The Nunchix and more at El Cid. Los Angeles Tonight (July 3rd, 2013)

As a handful of you readers close out your work week super early - a concert might be the perfect cocktail to enter your holiday weekend before the fireworks and BBQs commence.

There is no better place to get a funky start to the freedom festivities then to go to The Mint for the launch of Stanton Moore's residency.  The Galactic super drummer is joined by Wil Blades and Meters' guitarist Leo Nocentelli.  If you can't handle the funk, House of Vibe at Harvelle's probably won't be the right decision either.



If you're anxious for fireworks - then Hollywood Bowl for Josh Groban and LA Phil is not a bad bet.  If you prefer your explosions of the bass and trap variety - then Downlink and Etc! Etc! at Yost Theater is for you.



Last, but certainly not least, the Marley bloodline makes an appearance at Echoplex for Dub Club as Damian Marley and Stephen Marley host a night featuring Ghetto Youths Crew, Christopher Ellis, Black Am I, Jo Mensa and special guests!

It's Tuesday in LA during TV offseason, here's what you can do after the sun goes down (because when the sun is up y'all need to either be at work or playing outside, stop gettin fat America)...

Outer Minds and Dante vs. Zombies take over the Observatory.  FYI they aren't real zombies, so no need to arm yourselves.



The Garden is at the Smell, those dues are quirky, there's a few other bands playing with them, def. worth $5.00, which coincidentally is the price.



Royal Teeth are cuttin  at The Troubadour.



That should keep you busy.  Stay safe.

Its Tuesday, but it already feels like the week is halfway over given that most of America is checking out of work Wednesday for an extended weekend.  Before you head out for the fireworks, BBQs and lounging by a pool or beach to cure the ails of these heat waves - check out the stream of AraabMUZIK's The Remixes Vol. 1 on Pitchfork.

Purveyor of the new version of the "Harlem Shake" Baauer and the always dope R.L Grime are joining forces like Voltron to transform venues across America on their Infinite Daps Tour.

The dance craze inspiring Harry Rodriguez responsible for the #1 Billboard hit attacks the midwest to deliver his electronified hip-hop music along with Grime, legally known as Henry Steinway, who is responsible for solid remixes of Chicago MC's like Yeezy's "Mercy" and Chief Keef's "Love Sosa." Ryan Hemsworth and Jim-E Stack join to make sure the bills are healthy. The fun starts July 8th at Ottawa Blues Fest.
